Sewer Line Repair
Camera inspection and repair of damaged sewer lines.

Damaged sewer lines can cause sewage backups, foul odors, and yard flooding. People's Choice Plumbing uses sewer camera inspection technology to locate the exact problem — whether it's a crack, collapse, tree root intrusion, or bellied pipe — and determine the most effective repair method. We offer both traditional excavation repair and trenchless techniques to minimize disruption to your property.

What a sewer camera inspection shows
Before we dig or quote a repair, we run a sewer camera inspection so you see the problem yourself — cracks, root intrusion, grease buildup, or a collapsed section — and know whether you need a cleaning, a spot repair, or a full replacement. That guide covers what the service costs, how long it takes, and what documentation you should walk away with.
Homes on septic rather than city sewer need a different maintenance rhythm. Our septic tank pumping guide covers how often to pump, the warning signs a tank is full, and why Florida's high water table makes staying on schedule especially important.
What Customers Say
“Great people and showed up exactly when they said they would. Good pricing and excellent communication before, during and after the job.”
“Had a nightmare of a morning where my toilet backed up into my shower! Called several companies and couldn’t get someone to come out asap. It is my only bathroom. Called People’s Choice at 8 am and Bruno was here before 11 am! Gave me a quote upfront, got to work, and we were back in business by noon! Great communication, fast scheduling, fair prices, explained everything and friendly. I wasn’t happy it happened by I’m grateful to have a reliable source for service when the next emergency arises. I highly recommend!”
“Outstanding service. Have had rodent problems in our crawlspace for 4 years. Various pest control services could not figure out entryway. Brought People’s Choice in to run a camera thru our sewer lines to see if any holes existed. Sewer lines were intact but Dylan, on further inspection of the crawlspace area, found a possible entryway near the foundation, was able to run the camera into a small gap, and found a nesting spot likely alongside a small water line thru the back of the house. Dylan was professional, thorough, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Peoples Choice.”
Frequently Asked Questions
What are signs of a damaged sewer line?
Common signs include multiple slow drains, gurgling sounds from toilets, sewage odors inside or outside, unusually green patches in the yard, foundation cracks, or sewage backups. A sewer camera inspection can confirm the problem.
What is a sewer camera inspection?
A sewer camera inspection uses a waterproof, high-resolution camera on a flexible cable that's fed through your sewer line. It lets our plumbers see the inside of the pipe in real time to locate cracks, collapses, root intrusion, grease buildup, and bellied sections — without digging. It's the most accurate way to diagnose a sewer problem and decide on the right repair.
How do you fix roots in a sewer line?
Tree roots that have invaded a sewer line are first cleared mechanically or with hydro jetting to cut them out and restore flow. We then run a camera inspection to assess the damage. If the pipe is intact, we recommend a maintenance plan to keep roots from returning; if the roots have cracked or displaced the pipe, a spot repair, trenchless lining, or pipe replacement may be needed.
